Block calculator & estimates
How the online tool works, what it includes, and what still needs an engineer or formal quote.
The calculator uses your wall length and height (in metres), a blocks-per-m² factor you can adjust, and a built-in waste allowance so the count is realistic for ordering. It is a planning aid—not a structural design, bill of quantities, or binding price. Bond pattern, openings, lintels, and site-specific cutting can change what you need; add a buffer and confirm with your engineer or QS before you lock quantities for construction.
A percentage is applied on top of the geometric count to account for breakage, cutting, and minor site waste. You can fine-tune blocks per m² in the form if your joint thickness or pattern differs from our default. For complex openings or non-standard bonds, discuss extras with us when you request a quote.
When the selected product has a unit price in our system, the estimate shows block cost for the calculated quantity. If you choose a delivery zone, delivery is scaled per block from your admin settings. The total is indicative: final pricing depends on confirmed quantities, site access, batch availability, and any special terms on the formal quotation.
No. It helps you plan. A formal quote may include different rates, minimums, payment terms, and delivery windows. Use “Request a quote” or the quote builder when you are ready for numbers you can place an order against.
Delivery & logistics
Coverage, timing, and what we need on site so delivery runs smoothly.
We aim to support projects nationwide where logistics allow. Available zones and fees may appear in the block calculator when your administrator has configured them. Remote or one-off locations may need a custom quote for transport—mention your site and access in the contact form or quote request.
In the calculator, the delivery line uses your per-block zone rate multiplied by the estimated number of blocks for that run of inputs. The fee is a planning figure from your settings; high-volume or repeat drops may be priced differently on a formal quote.
Clear, safe access for the vehicle, a laydown area that matches the stack plan, and a named person to sign off the load. Delays, failed access, or redelivery can incur extra cost—our team can advise when you book.
Quotes, orders & payment
How to request pricing, what happens next, and how contracts are formed.
Use the orange “Quote” control in the header, the quote builder on the site, or the contact form with your product list and delivery preference. The more specific you are (sizes, quantities, site location, and timeline), the faster we can respond with a clear line-item proposal.
Website and calculator figures are informative unless we confirm them in writing. A binding arrangement depends on our written order confirmation, accepted quotation, or terms stated on the invoice or contract. See the Terms of Service for details on quotes and changes.
Deposits, pro forma, and credit terms (where offered) are stated on the quotation or invoice. If you need a purchase order, tax documentation, or staged payments, raise it when you request a quote so we can align the paperwork.
Products, specs & quality
CMU, slabs, and documentation for tenders and site use.
Each product in the catalog has a description, nominal dimensions, and—where applicable—links or notes to datasheets and basis of design. For sealed drawings or submittal packs, request the current mill data and test summaries with your quote.
Inspect material on delivery when possible, note shortages or visible damage on the paperwork, and contact us within a reasonable time with photos. Hidden issues after improper storage or installation are outside our standard remedy path—our Terms of Service describe inspection and claims in full.
